Specific Tips for Sublimated Garments:
- To find out if a garment has been dye sublimated, look at the reverse side of the fabric, If this is mainly white compared to the printed side, this is most likely a dye sublimated garment.
- You can test the fabric for a few seconds under a heat press with a piece of polyester carrier on top of it. If ink migrates onto the polyester carrier after a few seconds under the heat press, this shows that the fabric is sublimated.
- Place parchment paper over the top of the garment and transfer on the heat press, to prevent ink migration onto the heat press platen.
