A new year brings with it an exciting new product range to Victory Design – Diffuse Reflective and Fluorescent Films.
As our involvement in reflective and fluorescent safety markings continues to grow, so too does our understanding of our customer’s needs. Within the ever-changing industry of conspicuity markings, we are keen to ensure that our product range meets the demands placed upon our customers.
With this in mind, we started to consider a new addition to our reflective and fluorescent product range – one that would service the majority, meet applicable regulations and be priced in a way to help our customers keep their customers happy.
How Diffuse Reflective and Fluorescent Films came to fruition
Research began with our customer base. Being perfectly placed to speak directly to those involved in converting and applying reflective and fluorescent films on a daily basis, we were able to really listen to their wants and needs.
Our research uncovered 4 headline points that our customers value the most, which became the driving force throughout or product development.

Performance
Diffuse Reflective Red Prismatic R3B 500-01 is a high performance microprismatic metallised, flexible sheeting. Having been specifically designed for use on highways vehicles and delineator posts, Diffuse Reflective Red provides a high level of reflectivity and visibility.
When applied correctly, Diffuse Reflective Red complies with BS EN-12899 Class R3B-UK colour and reflectivity standards, along with other industry standards too.
Ease of application and high levels of performance also feature heavily in Diffuse Fluorescent Yellow Swift Apply. This PVC fluorescent vinyl has a low tack permanent Swift Apply adhesive - specifically designed for easy bubble free application. These Swift Apply properties make it perfect for applications over large areas, such as vehicle safety markings, door wraps and bonnet wraps.
This Swift Apply fluorescent yellow also offers fantastic colour vibrancy, allowing increased visibility for all applications.

R3B compliancy
With the introduction of R3B legislation, many of our customers felt their options narrowing in terms of reflective materials for their Chapter 8 kits. With many of our customers servicing companies that require R3B compliant vehicle markings, ensuring that our new product would fit this bill was very important.
Diffuse Reflective Red is R3B compliant - opening up these options once more, allowing customers requirements to be met within a keener price point. What we’ve found with Diffuse Reflective Films is the opportunity to offer an R3B compliant product without the R3B compliant price tag.
Application
Diffuse Reflective Films are highly flexible, offering excellent handling during application. The application tests carried out on Diffuse Reflective Red uncovered something that seems unique to this product. They found that, if the film was stuck to the application surface in error, it could be quickly removed and then placed correctly. This is a characteristic not found in other reflective products and one which highly improves the application process.
Coupled with the Diffuse Fluorescent Yellow Swift Apply with its bubble free adhesive, you’ve got a reflective and fluorescent system that offers a fantastic application experience.
Durability
Diffuse Reflective Red is durable up to 5 years – perfect for most fleet and signage requirements. Its microprismatic retroreflective construction is abrasion and weather resistant and UV stabilised. Diffuse also boasts excellent impact, solvent and shrinkage resistance.
